Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and responsible 18-year-old individuals to join our team as Site Security Guards for night shifts. This licensed role is perfect for young adults looking to start a career in security, offering comprehensive training and a supportive environment. As a Site Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their premises during overnight hours. This includes monitoring surveillance equipment, patrolling designated areas, and responding to incidents as required. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises during night shifts, checking for unauthorized persons or suspicious activities.
- Monitor security cameras and alarm systems, reporting any unusual observations or breaches.
- Respond to alarms and emergencies according to established protocols, coordinating with emergency services when necessary.
- Document daily activities, incidents, and irregularities in detailed reports.
- Control access to the site, verifying credentials for entry and exit.
- Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure a secure environment.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and employees when interacting.
- Assist with initial investigations of incidents and provide support to law enforcement if required.
Required Skills
- Valid State Security Guard License (e.g., Guard Card in California)
- Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Strong observational and communication skills
- Ability to write clear and concise reports
- Basic computer proficiency for report writing and system monitoring
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent (or actively pursuing GED)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Familiarity with security technology and systems
