Job Description

Deluxe Entertainment Services Group is seeking a dedicated Subtitle Editor Trainee to join our remote team. As a trainee, you will receive comprehensive training in subtitling techniques, software, and industry best practices, contributing to the accessibility and global reach of popular content. Key Responsibilities

  • Undergo comprehensive training in subtitling software and techniques.
  • Learn to accurately time and position subtitles for various types of content.
  • Assist senior subtitle editors in proofreading, editing, and quality checking subtitles for linguistic accuracy, grammar, and style.
  • Familiarize yourself with different subtitle guidelines and client specifications.
  • Collaborate with a remote team to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Provide feedback on tools and workflows to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Continuously develop your linguistic and technical skills relevant to subtitling.

Required Skills

  • Excellent command of the English language (grammar, spelling, punctuation).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot errors.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to quickly learn new software.
  • A genuine passion for film, television, and media content.

Preferred Qualifications
