Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated WFH Value Alignment Coach to join our team, focusing on ethics and goal alignment for our remote workforce. In an increasingly distributed work environment, ensuring our team members are connected to Steelcase’s core values and strategic objectives is paramount. This role will involve coaching employees at various levels, fostering an ethical mindset, promoting goal clarity, and enhancing overall engagement and productivity within a remote setting. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate, ethical, and results-oriented professional with a strong understanding of remote work dynamics and a passion for employee development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement coaching programs specifically designed for remote employees to align personal and professional goals with company values and ethical standards.
  • Conduct one-on-one and group coaching sessions to support employees in navigating challenges, setting clear objectives, and maintaining high ethical conduct.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions on topics such as ethical decision-making, value integration, remote collaboration, and performance goal setting.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of coaching interventions, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize outcomes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and resource for employees seeking guidance on company policies, ethical dilemmas, and career development within a remote context.
  • Collaborate with HR and leadership to identify areas for improvement in remote employee engagement, value integration, and ethical culture.
  • Contribute to the creation of resources and best practices for WFH value alignment and ethical conduct.
  • Champion Steelcase's mission, vision, and values, ensuring they are consistently reflected in remote work practices.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in coaching, counseling, or employee development, particularly in a remote or distributed team environment.
  • Strong understanding of ethical principles and corporate governance.
  • Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and trust quickly with diverse individuals.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate others towards achieving goals.
  • Proficiency in using virtual communication and collaboration tools.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or professional coaching certification (e.g., ICF, EMCC).
  • Experience working within the workplace solutions or design industry.
  • Familiarity with change management principles and practices.
  • Experience in developing and delivering virtual training programs.
