Job Description
Join the friendly team at Premier Inn Lichfield City Centre as a Hotel Porter! We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. As a Porter, you will be the face of our hotel, assisting guests with their luggage, providing information, and ensuring the smooth operation of our lobby and public areas. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival and departure.
- Assist guests with luggage handling and transportation to and from their rooms.
- Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel lobby, entrance, and public areas.
- Handle guest inquiries and requests efficiently and professionally.
- Support other hotel departments (e.g., reception, housekeeping) as needed.
- Monitor and manage access to the hotel, ensuring security protocols are followed.
- Assist with deliveries and general errands within the hotel premises.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical fitness to handle luggage and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Basic understanding of health and safety guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role.
- Knowledge of the local Lichfield area and attractions.
- First Aid certification.
