Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Night Porter to join our team at Marriott Hotels in Orem. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in hospitality, as full training will be provided. As a Night Porter, you will be crucial in ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of our guests during the overnight hours. You will handle front desk operations, assist guests with inquiries, perform security checks, and prepare for the morning shift. Key Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations during the night shift, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries.
- Conduct regular security rounds throughout the hotel premises to ensure guest safety and property security.
- Handle guest requests and resolve minor issues promptly and courteously.
- Prepare reports and documentation for the morning shift, including balancing accounts.
- Assist with light cleaning duties in public areas as needed.
- Monitor CCTV systems and respond to alarms or unusual activity.
- Provide emergency assistance to guests when required.
Required Skills
- Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong commitment to guest service and satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role is a plus, but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- First Aid/CPR certification (training can be provided).
