Job Description
Are you a night owl looking for a rewarding role with premium pay? Asda in Headingley is seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our Night Owl Crew, working from 11pm to 7am. This vital role ensures our store is perfectly stocked, clean, and ready for our customers each morning. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently stock shelves with new products, ensuring accurate placement and presentation.
- Rotate stock to minimize waste and ensure product freshness.
- Assist with the unloading and organization of delivery trucks.
- Maintain high standards of store cleanliness and organization throughout the shift.
- Operate equipment safely and responsibly (e.g., pallet trucks, balers) after training.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Support inventory checks and assist with preparing the store for opening.
- Work collaboratively with other night shift colleagues to achieve daily targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to work consistently during night hours (11pm-7am).
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Capable of physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
- Basic communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail, warehouse, or similar environment.
- Familiarity with stock rotation and merchandising principles.
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in a retail setting.
