Job Description
KPMG is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Part-time Career Mentor to join our innovative WFH Hybrid program. This role is crucial in guiding professionals through their career journeys, offering industry-specific insights, and fostering skill development. As a mentor, you will leverage your expertise to provide personalized coaching, support, and strategic advice, helping our mentees achieve their professional goals within their chosen industries. Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized career guidance and mentorship to a diverse group of professionals.
- Develop personalized career plans and strategies based on mentee goals and industry trends.
- Conduct regular one-on-one virtual and in-person (as needed) coaching sessions.
- Offer industry-specific insights, market trends, and networking advice.
- Assist mentees in refining resumes, cover letters, and interview techniques.
- Facilitate skill development workshops and group mentoring sessions.
- Track mentee progress and adapt mentorship approaches as necessary.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance mentorship program offerings.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards in all interactions.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a leadership or senior role within a specific industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong active listening and empathetic guidance abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, motivate, and develop others.
- Deep understanding of career development principles and job market dynamics.
- Proficiency with virtual communication platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
