Job Description
Join Amazon Logistics as a Hamper Sorter for our peak season! This is a fast-paced, temporary role critical to our operations, offering weekly payouts. As a Hamper Sorter, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately sorting packages into designated hampers, ensuring they are ready for the next stage of the delivery process. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently sort packages, parcels, and items into designated hampers or containers based on specific routing codes or destinations.
- Inspect packages for damage or discrepancies and report issues to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Load and unload packages from conveyor belts, pallets, or carts as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sorting targets.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned during peak periods.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 49 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
