Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Regional Truck Drivers to join our team in Provo, Utah. This position offers consistent regional routes, ensuring you are home every weekend to enjoy quality time with your family. We offer paid orientation, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive work environment. As a Regional Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods across designated regional routes, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) over regional routes.
- Transport goods in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of truck and trailer.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELDs) and other necessary paperwork.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members.
- Ensure the secure loading and unloading of freight, as required.
- Represent Knight-Swift Transportation professionally at all times.
Required Skills
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
- Minimum of 6 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience (or recent CDL school graduate with paid orientation)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
- Experience with dry van and reefer freight
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs)
