Job Description

Are you passionate about customer service and keen to share your insights? Best Buy is looking for detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Mystery Shoppers in Akron, Ohio. This flexible, part-time role allows you to evaluate the customer experience at various Best Buy locations, providing crucial feedback that helps us maintain our high standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct assigned in-store evaluations as a regular customer, adhering strictly to provided guidelines.
  • Observe and assess various aspects of the retail experience, including customer service, staff interaction, product display, store cleanliness, and overall atmosphere.
  • Engage with sales associates and other store personnel to evaluate their knowledge, helpfulness, and adherence to company standards.
  • Accurately document observations and experiences immediately after each shop using our online reporting system.
  • Provide clear, objective, and detailed written feedback on all aspects of the shopping experience.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all assignments and company information.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written communication skills, capable of providing clear and concise reports.
  • Reliable and able to meet deadlines for shop completion and report submission.
  • Basic computer proficiency for online report submission.
  • Ability to act discreetly and naturally during shopping assignments.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in retail or customer service roles.
  • Experience with mystery shopping or survey completion platforms.
