Job Description

Are you passionate about helping customers and thrive in a fast-paced virtual environment? Walmart Canada is seeking a dedicated Virtual E-commerce Support Rep to join our remote team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our online shoppers, providing exceptional support and resolving inquiries related to orders, products, website navigation, and general customer service. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while making a real impact on our customers’ online shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via email, chat, and phone regarding e-commerce orders, product information, and website issues.
  • Resolve customer complaints and concerns efficiently, aiming for first-contact resolution whenever possible.
  • Assist customers with order placement, tracking, modifications, and returns/exchanges.
  • Provide technical assistance for website navigation, account management, and payment processing.
  • Educate customers on Walmart Canada's online policies and procedures.
  • Document customer interactions and resolutions accurately in our CRM system.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., logistics, IT) to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, promotions, and system updates to provide accurate information.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and actively participate in training and development sessions.

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Proficiency with computers and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated quiet workspace.
  • Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms and online shopping processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service or call center environment, particularly in e-commerce.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk).
  • Experience with online retail or a large consumer brand.
  • Post-secondary education or relevant certifications.
