Job Description

Showsec is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Event Ushers for casual weekend work at major stadiums and venues across Nottinghamshire, with a primary focus on events in Mansfield. This role is perfect for those looking for flexible work that fits around other commitments, offering the chance to be at the heart of exciting live events. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all attendees, providing directions, checking tickets, and maintaining a welcoming environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and direct patrons to their seats or specific areas within the venue.
  • Verify tickets and credentials for entry into designated zones.
  • Provide accurate information about event schedules, facilities, and emergency procedures.
  • Monitor crowd flow and identify potential safety hazards or issues.
  • Respond calmly and effectively to patron inquiries, complaints, or emergencies.
  • Assist with accessible seating and special requirements for patrons with disabilities.
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service and professional conduct at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with other event staff, security, and venue management.
