Job Description
Join the Sodexo team as a High School Concessions Stand Worker, where you’ll be an essential part of creating memorable event experiences. This role involves serving food and beverages at various high school sports games and other stadium events. We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy interacting with the public. No prior experience is required; we provide all necessary training!
Key Responsibilities
- Operate concession stand equipment, including popcorn machines, hot dog rollers, and beverage dispensers.
- Prepare and serve food and beverage items to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Handle cash and process electronic payments accurately, providing correct change and receipts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment, adhering to all food safety guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service, greeting patrons with a positive attitude and addressing inquiries.
- Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies as needed during events.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Required Skills
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as per event schedules.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- A positive and customer-focused attitude.
- Reliable and punctual.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations.
