Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Part-time Vehicle Groomer to join our team at Simpson Chevrolet of Fullerton. This role is crucial for ensuring our vehicles are presented in pristine condition, ready for display and customer delivery. We are specifically looking for someone available to work weekends, focusing on maintaining our showroom and lot vehicles to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough interior and exterior cleaning of new and used vehicles, including washing, waxing, vacuuming, and polishing.
- Detail vehicle interiors, including dashboards, door panels, and consoles.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and trim to a streak-free finish.
- Inspect vehicles for imperfections and address them appropriately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all detailing supplies are properly stored.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with moving vehicles on the lot as needed, ensuring careful handling.
- Adhere to all dealership safety and quality standards.
- Prepare vehicles for customer delivery, ensuring they meet showroom-ready standards.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 25 lbs consistently.
- Willingness to work weekends consistently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in vehicle detailing or automotive care.
- Familiarity with various cleaning products and techniques specific to automotive detailing.
- Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
