Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Retail Warehouse Associate to join our vibrant team in South Bend, Indiana. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure our products are accurately received, stocked, and prepared for distribution, contributing directly to our seamless retail operations. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming merchandise, ensuring accuracy against invoices and identifying any discrepancies or damages.
- Efficiently sort, organize, and store products in designated warehouse locations.
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment safely and effectively (training provided if necessary).
- Pick, pack, and prepare merchandise for shipment to retail stores or direct-to-guest fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the warehouse.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with stock rotation.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, retail, or logistics environment.
- Experience operating material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
