Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications.
- Process and manage prescription orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory, including stocking shelves and managing expired medications.
- Operate cash register and handle financial transactions.
- Prepare and package medications for dispensing.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Participate actively in PTCB certification preparation and training.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Commitment to customer service and patient care.
- Ability to learn and adhere to pharmacy laws and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience.
