Job Description

Great Clips is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Salon Junior to join our bustling Richmond location. Key Responsibilities
- Assisting senior stylists with various salon tasks, including shampooing, conditioning, and blow-drying clients' hair.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting salon environment, including sweeping, tidying workstations, and laundry.
- Greeting clients warmly, checking them in, and ensuring a comfortable waiting experience.
- Preparing clients for services, draping them, and ensuring their comfort throughout their visit.
- Stocking salon supplies and ensuring products are readily available for stylists.
- Learning and mastering salon procedures, product knowledge, and customer service best practices.
- Assisting with front desk duties such as answering phones and scheduling appointments as needed.
- Willingness to learn and take on additional duties to support the salon team.

- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform salon duties.
- Must have Saturday availability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a cosmetology program.
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a salon or retail setting.
- Basic understanding of hair care products and techniques.
