Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Assist qualified Public Health Inspectors with routine inspections and investigations across various premises.
- Learn to identify potential public health risks and understand relevant legislation and enforcement procedures.
- Collect samples and evidence, accurately record findings, and contribute to report writing.
- Respond to public inquiries and complaints under supervision, providing clear and helpful advice.
- Participate in training programs and complete all required certifications successfully.
- Develop a strong understanding of environmental health principles and practices.
- Support the team in administrative tasks related to inspections and case management.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
