Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Pick and Pack Clerk to join our General Merchandise team in Boise, Idaho. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately picking products from warehouse shelves, packing them efficiently, and preparing them for shipment to ensure our guests receive their orders correctly and on time. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick merchandise from designated locations using handheld scanners or pick lists.
- Verify product quantity, quality, and condition before packing.
- Efficiently pack items into appropriate containers, ensuring products are protected during transit.
- Generate shipping labels and apply them correctly to packages.
- Organize packed items for loading onto delivery vehicles.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area within the warehouse.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and shipping labels.
- Basic computer literacy for scanner operation and data entry.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift (up to 50 lbs), and bend for extended periods.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment center, or retail stockroom environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Experience using handheld scanners or other inventory tracking technology.
