Job Description

Warburtons in Kirkby is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our production team as Tortilla/Bread Factory Helpers. No prior experience is necessary – we believe in talent and provide comprehensive training to help you succeed. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading and unloading of ingredients and finished products on the production line.
- Operate basic machinery under supervision, ensuring products meet quality standards.
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain a hygienic and safe working environment.
- Monitor product quality, identifying and reporting any defects or issues immediately.
- Help with packaging and labeling of bread and tortilla products.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient production.
- Support inventory management by assisting with stock rotation and material handling.
Required Skills
- Reliability and punctuality for shifts.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a factory, warehouse, or food production environment (desirable but not essential).
- Basic food hygiene certification (can be obtained during training).
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
