Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Pilates Equipment Cleaner / Reset Attendant to join our team in Hartford, CT. This part-time, shift-based role is crucial for maintaining the pristine condition and operational readiness of our Pilates studio equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring all reformers, chairs, cadillacs, and accessories are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and correctly set up between classes and shifts, contributing significantly to a safe and enjoyable experience for our members. Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of all Pilates equipment, including reformers, chairs, cadillacs, barrels, and small props, using approved cleaning solutions.
- Reset equipment to standard configurations between classes and for the start of new shifts, ensuring all accessories are in their proper place.
- Inspect equipment for any damage, wear, or missing parts and report findings to the studio management promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Pilates studio floor, storage areas, and common spaces.
- Stock and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and company policies.
- Work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by studio schedule.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard for cleanliness.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work independently.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift (up to 25 lbs), and move equipment as needed.
- Reliability and punctuality for scheduled shifts.
- Excellent communication skills to report issues or needs.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning or hospitality role, particularly in a fitness or wellness setting.
- Basic knowledge or interest in Pilates or fitness equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
