Job Description
Are you a motivated and enthusiastic 14-year-old looking for your first job experience? Levy Restaurants is hiring energetic individuals to join our Concession Stand Crew for upcoming sports and stadium events in Ottawa! This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable work experience, develop customer service skills, and be part of the thrilling atmosphere of live events.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up concession stands prior to events, ensuring all equipment and supplies are ready.
- Greet guests warmly and take food and beverage orders accurately.
- Prepare and serve concession items such as popcorn, hot dogs, nachos, and beverages.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the concession stand area during and after events.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient service.
Required Skills
- Must be 14 years of age or older.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.

- Previous volunteer experience in a customer service setting.
