Job Description

We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our onboard medical team. As a Cruise Ship Nurse, you will provide comprehensive primary and emergency healthcare services to both guests and crew members in a unique and dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care for guests and crew members.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies throughout the ship, including participation in code teams.
  • Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist physicians in various medical procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, ensuring compliance with international maritime health regulations.
  • Assist in the management and maintenance of medical equipment and supplies.
  • Conduct health screenings, vaccinations, and public health surveillance as required.
  • Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
  • Collaborate with the medical team, ship management, and other departments to ensure seamless healthcare delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.

Required Skills

  • Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license from an internationally recognized nursing board.
  • Minimum of 3 years (36 months) post-registration clinical experience in an acute care setting (e.g., Emergency Room, Intensive Care Unit, or Critical Care).
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Proficiency in emergency assessment, intervention, and management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Ability to adapt to a demanding and often rapidly changing work environment.
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Additional certifications such as Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS).
  • Experience in pre-hospital care or mass casualty incidents.
  • Proficiency in additional languages.
  • Previous experience working on a cruise ship or in a remote medical setting.
