Key Responsibilities
- Complete all required paid training and pass certification exams to become a licensed Pharmacy Technician.
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering patient questions, and resolving issues with empathy and professionalism.
- Manage prescription intake, data entry, and processing within the pharmacy system.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory, including ordering, stocking, and organizing medications.
- Process insurance claims and handle cash register transactions.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to learn and commit to a paid training program.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior customer service experience in any industry.
- Bilingual skills (especially Spanish) are a plus but not required.
