Job Description

Chatters Hair Salon in Stoney Creek is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Braider Assistant to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is perfect for someone with high energy, a willingness to learn, and a desire to work in a fast-paced salon environment. You’ll gain hands-on experience, learn from experienced stylists, and contribute to creating beautiful hair designs for our diverse clientele. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior braiders and stylists with client preparation, including washing hair, detangling, and sectioning.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work stations, tools, and salon common areas.
- Provide excellent customer service, greeting clients, offering beverages, and ensuring their comfort throughout their visit.
- Observe and learn various braiding techniques, hair styling methods, and product application.
- Help with inventory management, restocking supplies, and managing laundry as needed.
- Support front desk operations during peak times, including answering phones and scheduling appointments.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and stay updated on current trends.
