Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable individual for the role of Food Truck Deep Fryer Drainer to perform nightly maintenance at our Craigavon location. This essential position ensures the deep fryers are meticulously cleaned, drained, and prepared for the next day’s operations, upholding our rigorous hygiene and safety standards. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently drain cooking oil from deep fryers on a nightly basis.
- Thoroughly clean all components of the deep fryer units, including baskets, elements, and internal surfaces, according to established procedures.
- Filter and dispose of old cooking oil in designated receptacles, adhering to environmental and safety regulations.
- Restock fryers with fresh cooking oil as required.
- Inspect fryer equipment for any signs of wear, damage, or malfunction and report issues to management immediately.
- Adhere strictly to all company food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Collaborate with the night shift team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Reliability and punctuality for nightly shifts.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy oil containers (up to 20kg).
- Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and safety practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in kitchen maintenance or a similar role.
- Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 1 or 2).
- Experience working in a fast-paced food service environment.
