Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, warm, and highly reliable Nanny to join a loving family in Henderson, NV. Key Responsibilities
- Provide engaging and educational care for children, adapting activities to their age and developmental stage.
- Oversee daily routines including meal preparation (for children), bath time, nap schedules, and school drop-offs/pick-ups.
- Plan and execute creative, age-appropriate activities, including crafts, games, outdoor play, and educational outings.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for the children, including tidying play areas and children's rooms.
- Communicate effectively and regularly with parents regarding children's progress, daily activities, and any concerns.
- Assist with homework and school projects as needed, encouraging a love for learning.
- Manage children's laundry and ensure their belongings are organized.
- Administer basic first aid if necessary and manage minor illnesses with parental guidance.
- Run child-related errands as required.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of professional nanny or childcare experience with verifiable references.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain immediately).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive, reliable, and punctual.
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
- Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- Experience with multiple children.
- Ability to speak a second language.
- Experience with special needs children.
- Non-smoker.
