Job Description
Join Hayden Farm Estate for our upcoming harvest season as a Fruit Picker. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking for immediate work without the need for extensive background checks or prior experience. We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to help us gather our seasonal bounty. Full training will be provided on-site. This role is ideal for those who enjoy working outdoors and are looking for a hands-on temporary position.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully pick various types of fruits from trees and bushes according to ripeness and quality standards.
- Handle produce gently to prevent bruising and damage.
- Place picked fruit into designated containers or baskets.
- Work efficiently to meet daily picking targets.
- Adhere to all farm safety guidelines and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Report any issues with crops or equipment to supervisors.
Required Skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, and lift repeatedly.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Attention to detail to identify ripe fruit.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- No prior experience required – full training will be given.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in agricultural work or fruit picking (beneficial but not essential).
- Access to personal transportation (due to farm location).
