Job Description
Join the FedEx Ground team as a Hub Laborer in Orlando, Florida! This crucial role involves handling packages, loading and unloading trailers, and ensuring the efficient flow of operations within our fast-paced distribution hub. Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload packages from trailers, trucks, and conveyor systems.
- Sort and scan packages according to destination and size.
- Operate package handling equipment responsibly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support hub operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs (occasionally heavier with assistance).
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Familiarity with package scanning technology.
