Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic WFH Confidence Coach to empower our employees to excel in public speaking and social interactions within a remote work environment. This role is crucial for fostering an inclusive and effective communication culture across our distributed teams. You will design and deliver personalized coaching programs, workshops, and resources to help individuals overcome communication anxieties, enhance their presentation skills, and build stronger professional relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement individualized coaching plans focused on public speaking, social confidence, and effective virtual communication.
- Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions via video conferencing to address specific employee needs and goals.
- Facilitate virtual group workshops and training sessions on topics such as presentation skills, networking, and overcoming stage fright.
- Develop and curate engaging learning materials, including guides, exercises, and best practices for remote communication.
- Assess employee progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt coaching strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with HR and L&D teams to identify company-wide communication development needs.
- Stay current with best practices in coaching, adult learning, and virtual communication technologies.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a coach or trainer, specifically in public speaking, communication, or social skills development.
- Exceptional interpersonal and active listening skills with a high degree of empathy.
- Strong ability to build rapport and trust with diverse individuals in a virtual setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using virtual collaboration and presentation tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple coaching engagements simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional coaching certification (e.g., ICF, EMCC).
- Experience working in a large corporate or automotive environment.
- Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design for virtual delivery.
- Demonstrated success in improving individual confidence and communication outcomes.
- Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
