Job Description
Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual looking for a rewarding weekend opportunity? BrightStar Care in Missoula is seeking enthusiastic Weekend Caregivers to join our supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our clients by providing essential in-home care services during Saturday and Sunday. Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
- Assist with safe transfers and mobility support.
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals, ensuring client dietary needs are met.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Assist with medication reminders as directed by care plan.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities.
- Run errands and assist with grocery shopping.
- Document care services provided and report any changes in client condition to the supervisor.
- Adhere to all BrightStar Care policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated empathy and compassion for others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
- Punctual and reliable attendance.
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in home care, healthcare, or a related field (6+ months preferred).
- CPR/First Aid certification.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
