Job Description
As an Entry-Level Voter Registration Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring every eligible citizen in McLennan County has the opportunity to exercise their right to vote. You will assist voters with registration, maintain accurate voter records, and provide essential administrative support to the Elections Administration office. Key Responsibilities
- Assist citizens with voter registration forms and ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Process new voter registration applications and updates according to state and federal guidelines.
- Provide information to the public regarding voter registration requirements, deadlines, and election procedures.
- Maintain and update voter registration databases with precision and confidentiality.
- Respond to inquiries from the public in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Organize and maintain voter registration materials and office supplies.
- Support outreach events and voter registration drives as needed.
- Perform general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and record keeping.
