Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Virtual Travel Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this 100% remote role, you will be responsible for selling a wide range of holiday packages, flights, hotels, cruises, and related travel services to clients across various channels. You will serve as a trusted advisor, understanding customer needs, recommending tailored travel solutions, and ensuring a seamless booking experience. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your sales acumen and love for travel without the daily commute.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with potential and existing clients to understand their travel needs and preferences.
- Present and sell diverse holiday packages, flights, hotels, cruises, car rentals, and other travel products.
- Provide expert advice on destinations, travel trends, and package options.
- Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Manage customer inquiries, bookings, and after-sales service through phone, email, and chat.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Stay updated on travel industry trends, product knowledge, and competitive offerings.
- Utilize CRM software and other sales tools to track interactions and manage the sales pipeline.
- Process payments, confirm bookings, and handle all necessary documentation accurately.
Required Skills
- Proven sales experience, preferably in a target-driven environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong customer service orientation with a problem-solving attitude.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Proficiency in using computer systems, CRM software, and online booking platforms.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new products, technologies, and sales strategies.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in the travel or hospitality industry.
- Familiarity with GDS (Global Distribution System) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
- Experience selling international holiday packages.
- Fluency in a second language (e.g., Spanish, French, German).
- Certification or diploma in Travel & Tourism.
