Job Description
Are you passionate about cars and eager to launch a career in high-end automotive detailing? Mint Auto Detailing is seeking a motivated Vehicle Groomer Assistant to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity for individuals with little to no experience to learn the art and science of professional vehicle grooming, with a special focus on mastering ceramic coating applications. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior detailers in preparing vehicles for various detailing services.
- Perform initial exterior washes, interior vacuuming, and basic cleaning tasks.
- Learn and execute proper techniques for paint decontamination and surface preparation.
- Shadow and assist in the application of advanced protective coatings, including ceramic coatings.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the detailing bay.
- Handle customer vehicles with utmost care and professionalism.
- Regularly clean and maintain detailing equipment and tools.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures.
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and excellent customer service.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to tasks.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently when required.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in automotive detailing.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, and lift as needed.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in car washing, detailing, or a related automotive field is a plus, but not required.
