Job Description

Are you passionate about travel and eager to inspire the next generation? AAA Northeast is seeking a dynamic High School Service Partner with a focus on Tourism & Travel. This unique role involves building relationships with local high schools, educators, and students to promote awareness of career paths in the tourism and travel industry, facilitate educational programs, and engage young talent in community travel initiatives. You will act as a bridge between AAA Northeast’s extensive travel expertise and the enthusiastic student body, fostering interest and providing valuable insights into this exciting field. This position is perfect for someone who is an excellent communicator, highly organized, and has a genuine enthusiasm for education and travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with high school administrators, teachers, and guidance counselors.
  • Organize and conduct workshops, presentations, and career fairs focused on tourism and travel career opportunities.
  • Introduce students to AAA travel resources, services, and educational programs.
  • Identify and recruit students for potential internships, job shadowing, or youth travel programs.
  • Collaborate with internal AAA teams to align high school outreach with broader organizational goals.
  • Gather feedback from schools and students to continuously improve program offerings.
  • Represent AAA Northeast at local community events and educational forums.
  • Provide resources and mentorship to students interested in the travel sector.

Required Skills

  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
  • High level of organization and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in educational outreach, community relations, or youth program development.
  • Familiarity with the New Hampshire education system.
  • Experience working with high school-aged students.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of travel industry trends and career paths.
