Job Description
Join the Walmart team as a Sunset Shift Loader and play a crucial role in our supply chain operations in Fayetteville, AR. This part-time evening position involves the efficient and safe loading and unloading of goods, ensuring that our inventory is managed effectively to meet customer demand. You will work within a dynamic warehouse or retail backroom setting, contributing to the smooth flow of products from receiving to dispatch. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately load and unload merchandise from trucks, ensuring proper handling and placement.
- Utilize manual and powered equipment (such as pallet jacks, if certified) safely and efficiently.
- Verify product quantities against manifests and report discrepancies.
- Organize and stack products in designated areas, maintaining an orderly and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, including those related to heavy lifting and equipment operation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all loading and unloading tasks are completed within the shift.
- Assist with general warehouse cleanup and maintenance as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy items repeatedly (up to 50 lbs) throughout a shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling products.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality for evening shifts.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures in a warehouse or retail environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or loading/unloading role.
