Job Description
Join Amazon’s dynamic team as a Student Warehouse Team member with a focus on sorting and picking. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately sort incoming products and place them in designated locations.
- Efficiently pick customer orders from various warehouse locations using handheld scanners.
- Ensure all items are picked and packed according to quality and safety standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and responsibly after proper training (e.g., pallet jacks, trolleys).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily productivity goals.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 49 lbs.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic computer navigation skills for using scanning devices.
- Ability to understand and follow safety guidelines and verbal instructions.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or manufacturing environment.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends or evenings.
- High school diploma or equivalent (or currently pursuing).
- Experience with inventory management systems or RF scanners.
