Job Description

Join Sunrun as a Solar Panel Warehouse Aide and play a crucial role in our green energy mission. You will be responsible for supporting the efficient operation of our warehouse, handling the receiving, storage, and distribution of solar panels, inverters, batteries, and other related components. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming shipments of solar equipment and materials, verifying contents against purchase orders.
  • Organize and store inventory in designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring proper labeling and accessibility.
  • Prepare outgoing orders for installation teams, accurately picking and staging materials.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks manually or with equipment.
  • Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns to the warehouse supervisor.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic math and literacy skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to learn and adhere to safety procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Forklift certification or experience operating similar material handling equipment.
