Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Roll-Off Truck Operator to join our environmental services team in Spokane, WA. As a Roll-Off Truck Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a roll-off truck to transport and dispose of various waste materials. This is a stable position for an individual dedicated to safety, customer service, and environmental stewardship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a roll-off truck in a safe and efficient manner to collect and transport various waste materials.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, documenting any defects or issues.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations and company safety policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of routes, materials collected, and disposal sites.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
  • Ensure proper placement and retrieval of roll-off containers at customer locations.
  • Clean and maintain assigned vehicle and equipment.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide excellent service.

Required Skills

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with air brake endorsement.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy commercial vehicles, preferably roll-off trucks.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and climbing.
  • Strong commitment to safety.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the waste management or environmental services industry.
  • Knowledge of Spokane and surrounding areas.
  • Mechanical aptitude for basic vehicle troubleshooting.
