Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals for a 100% direct hire Warehouse position at our Milwaukee distribution center. This is a full-time opportunity to join a stable company with a commitment to its employees. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in managing inventory, processing shipments, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods. This role offers immediate employment and a chance to grow within a large retail organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and store incoming materials and products accurately.
- Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred but training may be provided).
- Perform quality checks on all incoming and outgoing products.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Excellent work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to safety guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Forklift certification or experience operating similar material handling equipment.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
- Basic computer proficiency.
