Job Description

In this role, you will convert audio and video recordings into written text, ensuring high accuracy and adherence to specific style guidelines. Key Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio and video files accurately into text format.
- Proofread and edit transcripts to ensure grammatical correctness, punctuation, and spelling.
- Adhere to Rev.com's style guide and client-specific instructions.
- Meet deadlines for assigned projects.
- Utilize transcription software and tools effectively.
- Maintain confidentiality of all transcribed materials.
Required Skills
- Excellent English grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills.
- Proficient listening and comprehension abilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to type accurately and efficiently (minimum 60 WPM recommended).
- Reliable internet access and a computer/laptop.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in transcription or related fields.
- Familiarity with various accents and dialects.
- Experience with transcription software (e.g., Express Scribe, Audacity).
- Ability to research specific terminology or names as needed.
