Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Bilingual Receptionist (Spanish/English) to join our team in Old Town Scottsdale. This is a high-demand role crucial for ensuring smooth operations and providing an excellent first impression for all patients and visitors. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both Spanish and English, possess strong organizational skills, and have a passion for service. You will be responsible for managing front desk operations, handling inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing administrative support in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, in both English and Spanish.
- Answer multi-line phone systems, direct calls, and take accurate messages.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, managing calendars efficiently.
- Process patient registrations, collect necessary information, and maintain accurate records.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Assist patients with paperwork and general inquiries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Collaborate with medical staff and other departments to ensure seamless patient flow.
- Handle basic administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
Required Skills
- Fluency in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer service-oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (1-2 years) in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
