Job Description

Join Bank of America as a Retail Finance Clerk in Long Beach, CA. This full-time position offers a consistent Monday-Friday day shift schedule, providing an excellent work-life balance. You will be a vital part of our branch team, responsible for ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of financial transactions and maintaining precise records. Key Responsibilities

  • Process and reconcile daily financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records, ledgers, and reports.
  • Verify the accuracy of financial data and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Handle cash and negotiable instruments securely and in accordance with company policies.
  • Prepare financial documents and correspondence as needed.
  • Collaborate with branch team members to support operational efficiency.
  • Adhere to all regulatory compliance requirements and internal control procedures.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations and data entry.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a financial or retail environment.
  • Knowledge of banking operations and financial terminology.
  • Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
