Job Description
As a Retail Banker at JPMorgan Chase, you will be the face of our branch, building strong relationships with our customers and helping them achieve their financial goals. You will process transactions, identify client needs, and offer tailored financial solutions. We provide a professional uniform to ensure you look your best and represent our brand with pride.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service, processing transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate banking products and services, including checking, savings, loans, and credit cards.
- Open new accounts and assist customers with account maintenance and inquiries.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints efficiently and professionally.
- Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Participate in branch sales initiatives and meet individual and team sales goals.
- Maintain a deep understanding of JPMorgan Chase products and services.
- Ensure accurate cash handling and daily balancing.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service or sales role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales acumen and ability to identify customer needs.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Ability to handle cash accurately and balance a till.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Previous experience in banking or financial services.
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish/English).
