Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Remote Student Support Specialist to join our team. In this 100% remote role, you will be the first point of contact for students seeking assistance, providing clear, concise, and helpful support exclusively through text-based channels (email and chat). Your primary goal will be to resolve student inquiries, guide them through our platforms and services, and ensure a positive learning experience. This position is ideal for individuals with excellent written communication skills, a passion for education, and a desire to make a difference in students’ academic journeys.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to student inquiries via email and chat in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide accurate information and guidance regarding course content, technical issues, enrollment, and administrative processes.
  • Troubleshoot common issues and escalate complex problems to appropriate internal teams when necessary.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all student interactions and resolutions.
  • Collaborate with other support teams to improve service delivery and student satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with Kaplan's offerings, policies, and system updates to provide informed support.
