Key Responsibilities
- Process a high volume of customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by identifying customer needs and directing them to appropriate bank products and services.
- Balance cash drawer daily and adhere strictly to all bank security procedures and policies.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all bank products, services, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with branch team members to ensure smooth operations and a consistently positive customer experience.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and proven accuracy in cash handling.
- Ability to work independently as well as a collaborative member of a team.
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort with standard banking software.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cash handling or customer service role, preferably within a financial institution.
- Familiarity with banking operations and various financial products.
- Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish) is a significant advantage.
