Job Description

Join Schlumberger as a Junior Well Service Aide and kickstart your career in the dynamic oil and gas industry! You will work alongside experienced professionals, assisting with the preparation, operation, and maintenance of specialized equipment at various well sites. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior Well Service Technicians with the setup, operation, and dismantling of well service equipment.
  • Learn and strictly adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and governmental regulations.
  • Conduct pre-job and post-job equipment inspections, ensuring all tools and machinery are in good working order.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.
  • Participate in daily toolbox talks and safety briefings.
  • Monitor equipment and processes during operations, reporting any anomalies to senior personnel.
  • Support inventory management by organizing and tracking materials and supplies on site.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
  • Actively participate in all training programs and development initiatives.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.
  • Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and remote locations.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn about complex machinery.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in physically demanding work environments (e.g., construction, manufacturing, agriculture).
  • Knowledge of basic hand tools and power tools.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain one.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
