Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pinterest User Experience Aide to join our Interface Testing team in Victorville, CA. In this critical on-site role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the quality, usability, and functionality of the Pinterest platform across various devices and interfaces. You will work closely with UX designers, engineers, and product managers to identify bugs, provide actionable feedback, and contribute to an exceptional user experience for millions worldwide. Key Responsibilities
- Execute detailed test plans and procedures to validate UI/UX designs and functionality across web and mobile platforms.
- Identify, document, and report bugs, inconsistencies, and usability issues with clear, concise steps to reproduce.
- Provide constructive feedback on user interface elements, workflows, and overall user experience.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions and assist with data collection and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
- Stay updated with the latest Pinterest features, design guidelines, and industry best practices in UX.
- Maintain and organize testing environments and equipment as needed for on-site testing.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual inconsistencies and functional defects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear bug reporting and team collaboration.
- Basic understanding of user experience principles and interface design concepts.
- Proficiency in using web browsers and mobile applications across different operating systems (iOS, Android).
- Ability to follow instructions and execute test cases meticulously.
- Familiarity with standard office software (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a QA or user testing role, even informal projects or internships.
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Asana).
- A genuine passion for Pinterest and its mission.
- Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
