Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote Google Support Technician to join our global support team. This is an entry-level position perfect for individuals eager to start a career in IT support, troubleshooting, and customer service with one of the world’s leading technology companies. You will be instrumental in providing technical assistance and solutions to Google users, ensuring a seamless experience with our products and services. This role is 100% remote, allowing you to work from anywhere within the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support to Google users via email, chat, and phone.
  • Diagnose and resolve common technical issues related to Google products and services (e.g., Gmail, Google Drive, Chrome).
  • Escalate complex issues to senior support technicians or specialized teams when necessary.
  • Document all customer interactions, issues, and resolutions accurately in our ticketing system.
  • Guide users through troubleshooting steps and provide clear, concise instructions.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through professional and empathetic communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with new Google product features and support tools.
  • Contribute to the creation and improvement of support documentation and knowledge base articles.

Required Skills

  • Strong passion for technology and a desire to learn about Google products.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Basic understanding of computer systems, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and internet browsers.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot technical problems logically and systematically.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation and patience.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or technical certification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
