This entry-level position is perfect for someone eager to learn the foundational aspects of pharmacy operations, focusing specifically on inventory management. You will work Monday to Friday, ensuring our pharmacy is well-stocked and organized to meet patient needs. Comprehensive training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels for all pharmaceutical products and supplies.
- Receive, unpack, and store incoming inventory according to established procedures.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Monitor product expiration dates and facilitate returns or disposals of expired items.
- Organize shelves and storage areas to ensure efficient workflow and accessibility.
- Assist with ordering and restocking supplies to prevent shortages.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to inventory management.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (training provided).
